Unfortunately, this makes up most of the mini-games included in HorrorLand.As if poorly implemented motion controls and forced repetition weren’t enough to make players angry, the game goes that extra step and makes each mini-game cost a differing amount of tokens to play. Some mini-games will only require a few tokens to play but others can eat up over ten per try. I totally agree with you about the balance, the game slows down very fast and unlocking next upgrade(hero) takes so long you quickly lose the will to play.I don't agree with you about 5 currencies, there are games with 10 times more than that and they are still fun. And I don't think that timers are a serious issue, they are annoying, but the game slows down too fast with or without them.I guess generally the problem is with the lack of balance and lack of depth.

But as the developer started working on the game again, hopefully we'll see some new features and improvements soon. The timers cap at one hour, and can be reduced via in-game items bought with in-game currency. You accumulate gems (the iap) extremely quick without spending money of your own.

If you buy them as they become available it's not so bad. They are paced decently.Diamonds and blue stones are very valuable. Blue stones let you buy gems (and purchase upgrades) and diamonds help you buy upgrades, heroes, and give you extra gold/secthe buildings are not what you're working towards like in other games. Here you're working towards upgrades, hero unlocks, hero levels, and artifact upgrades. So don't look at it from the view that buying buildings is the main goal. The buildings help you accomplish the other goals but things like hero choice, upgrades, and artifacts have much more of an impact overall.
